Avoiding toxins – sun tan lotion
For years we’ve been told to
slip on a shirt
slop on a lotion and
slap on a hat
I’m totally in favour with slip on a shirt and slap on a hat, but I am
uncomfortable with slop on a lotion.
There are two main reaspons. Quite often the product has parabens in it,
so our cells have to work overtime to get rid of it.
The other reason is that sun block prevents the sun from
creating vitamin D, which is so important in our bodies processing calcium to
builld strong bones and teeth.
Of course I’m not suggesting that you go out in the midday sun, but I would
like you to make sensible decisions based on the time of day, and the conditions.
