Epsom Salts

posted in: Health and Fun | 2

Epsom Salts is known scientifically as hydrated magnesium sulfate. It has been shown to be helpful in reducing stress, helping to remove toxins, and ease tired muscles. The recommended amount is 2 cups of Epsom salts to a bathful of water. Even in summer, if a hot bath doesn’t appeal, you can use tepid water, and put a chopped-up cucumber and some mint leaves to make a cooling equivalent. In addition, plain old Epsom salts is cheaper than the fancier equivalent, and you know that it doesn’t have harmful additives. If you are pregnant or have special health needs, please ask your doctor before using Epsom salts.
